governor tor for his signature the bill Is the result of a series of investigations which have been conducted by bp the federi tf g government 0 and liy the different western states where irrigation projects are contemplated for better beta methods of forming farming comm communities unitie a into irrigation districts under tho the provisions of the bill irrigation districts may avail themselves of the the cred credit of the united states in the building of new projects through ugh having t the federal government underwrite the bonds of the irrigation district diseri t under the proposed chamberlain law which W Is now before the national house of representatives in utah the settlers on irrigated projects have heretofore formed water users associations for handling water allars adas of the community and tor for defense of water rights and for financing the various projects under the provisions of the bill just passed the governor govern br of the sta state te des dea ignaces the companion measures by mckinney c creating a county engineer and abolishing the road commissioner and county surveyor were approved by the house on february 24 governor simon bamberger signed four measures on february 22 they are senate bill no 35 rela relating tink tc the sale of water by municipalities senate bill no 43 refuel reducing ng the time of probating small estates from ten to four
