Show bar moves to curb unlawful practice suits filed against two washington i county citizens for practicing law without A license in the first suits suit of their kind ever filed in fit utah two washington county citizens were charged the first of the week with practicing law without licenses to do so they are former state senator david hirschi hirsch of hurricane and former washington county clerk john 7 woodbury of st george the complaints against them were tiled filed by attorney sam cline of Ali alphord Alili hord ord bar commissioner om missioner for I 1 this district acting tor the state bar r association they ask for a court injunction nin them from further practice of law tint until I 1 they have been admitted to the bar and licensed to practice on the strength of mhd charge as submitted to judge leroy 11 cox ot this district the latter signed a restraining order monday restraining them from further practice until hearings have been had it if they are found guilty or it if athey tall fail to appear in fit the case the restraining restrain res int order will be made final and lurther unlawful practice on part would be contempt of court the suits stilts were filed after a thorough investigation by mr cline for the bar association and allege that defendants have unlawfully engaged in fit general law practice in washington county specific a allegations ile are that defendants in criminal actions have been represented by mr hirschi and that both defendants fend ants have given legal advice written contracts and other otherwise wisa car ried on the pra practice otice of law |
