Show BOARD MEMBERS ASSIGNED TO STAKE MIA convention representatives of the general boards of the young mens and young mutual improvement associations assigned to attend the annual M 1 I A convention of carowan parowan Pa rowan stake have been announced by general superintendent george Q morris of the Y M M L I 1 A and general president lucy G cannon of the Y W W M I 1 A subject to unavoidable changes the visitors will be axel A madsen dr george H hansen clarissa A beesley and virginia walker they will direct the general sessions and lead discussions of plans for the coming year in departmental groups sessions which will be b held at 9 a m and 1 SO p m sunday september 28 1941 at cedar city the morning session will be held at the 33 A C and the afternoon session at the cedar second war ward d hall stake superintendent newel F and stake MIA president blanche jones will be in charge of the convention stake president david L sargent and his counselors are cooperating in planning the convention probably the most ambitious program yet planned by the M L I 1 A will bo be discussed this is especially true of the departments for young people the Church wide clean life program will be stress ed and other new features will be given emphasis I 1 all stake andea and ward rd M 1 A officers are especially urged to participate in the con convention bention ven tion |
