Show EXCHANGE CLUB MEETS AT TAYL OffS CAFE ON OM MONDAY at the ace meeting ting of the carowan parowan exchange club at taylors cafe on monday noon most of the time was spent visiting with school teacher members who have been absent this summer A noble kimball chairman of the membership committee ascel that all members of his committee get busy and have their drive for new members completed by the next meeting of the club which will be held on monday september 2 23 members or 0 the board of iron county commissioners were in attendance T at the meeting and commissioner H L adams made a report to the club relative to the find ings of a group of club members who spent some time in parowan carowan canyon last week looking for a pos sible route for the new road that is being constructed there he said nothing definite could be reported to the club as to where the road will be placed until after a survey by the commission two possible loutes were recommended by the group one to go up through dry lakes and the other up main canyon where the present road now in the event the later place is chosen the group recommended some minor changes in the location as reported last week in these columns commissioner adams also asked for time at the next meeting of the club to make members acquainted with present plans for beautifying beautify in c the county before the centennial celebration in 1947 principal L B bennett spent a few minutes discussing school problems and giving an insight to what program will be carried out by the parowan carowan high school this winter |
