committee to their meeting there was no vote on the motion as amended mr W H leigh member of the board from district no 4 cedar city was present and was requested to make a statement if he cared to ile he said the board had adopted a policy a long time ago of discussing school matters only at meetings of the board a policy he felt was good and that therefore he feel at liberty to comment except to say that under our democratic form of government the will of the people should prevail board wants committee the meeting after passing the motion above referred to instructed the president of the parent teachers association mrs georgia B mitchell who presided at the meeting to contact the president of the school board and ar arrange rane if i possible for a meeting of the board with the people here at the earliest possible late date since then it is learned that mr james C robinson president of the board after afat r conferring with interested te parties has asked that a committee meet with the board at lu ais meeting on april to present the matter then if a meeting here herd is still desired one can be arranged reason for this request mr robinson says is that board members are busy men some of them out with livestock at present and if the regular meeting will answer the purpose that will suit them better accordingly a delegation is being selected to present the matter next monday mr
