| Show I N NL NN N L t r rr r i r Ir 1 R 1 17 jk J JW k it f r J T r V V 4 j 4 r i D ft- ft 4 ai l MM HIKE 50 MILES The week of Aug 20 16 was not any ordinary one for seven boys and two scout leaders of the Bountiful Ward DURING this time these boys were back packing their way through the primitive Uintah wilderness Scouts of the Bountiful Ward recently completed completed completed com com- a 50 mile hike They hiked 50 miles along the high line trail from Mirror Mirror Mirror Mir Mir- Lake to Moon Lake EATING dehydrated survival food was a new experience for most of these boys The meals were not gourmet- gourmet fare but like Jack Sprat they licked their platters clean There was much rejoicing at the discovery of a cooking spatula that had been left al along ng the trail two years before before before be be- fore by some members of this same troop UNDER the able leadership of Scoutmaster Jim Barlow and Rod Taylor the scouts and explorers participating were Randy Johnson David Winslow Brian Johnson Doug Winslow Wes Parks Steve Johnson and Kevin Dykman |
