Show FARMERS WILL FORM LOCAL associations TO CONTROL ehrat individual farmen farmery will have a direct with the federal wheat administration under the plans or the agricultural adjustment act through local wheat growers production control associations which will be organized in the near future according to information received at the extension service of 0 the utah state agricultural college these meetings will be called by county agents or by men especially appointed to direct the organization work in cou counides coun lies niles not served by agents director william peterson Pc terson said representatives elected at each of 0 these local meetings by the farm ers who decide to cooperate with the reduction program will constitute the board of directors 0 of the county wheat control association the organization of 0 participating fa farmers amers which will direct local application of the wheat plan this board 0 of directors or control board will in turn elect officers including a president vice president and secretary cre tary the secretary will usually le be the county agricultural agent or cr other man in direct charge of the organization features an executive committee of three with the president of the board of directors serving as chairman will then be ba elected by the board of directors this executive committee will function as the allotment committee tor for the county representing the entire county adjustment association in dealing with the state and federal wheat administrations and in checking and passing on local matters ot of administration the county allotment committee will be the tally important administrative unit in the whole plan for applying the wheat reduction program the organization will be governing the farmer who wishes information on the wheat plan before he is reached by the local organization work can get this by communicating with his local county agricultural agent or with hla his state director of extension work |
