Show stock from ranges to be corralled by city animals coming from the summer ranges into the city this tall fall will be corralled as they are found by the marshal on the streets and it will vill bo be up to the livestock association or the individual owners to take lake care of 0 them from that point the city council decided at its meeting on tuesday night no charge will be made by the city tor for this service and no trespass fee ee collected as in the case 0 of other animals found on the streets but after they have once been corralled by the marshal it if they are again found on the street they will be subject to the regular fee plus teed feed bills A plea that they are just oft off the range will not save this fee the livestock assoc alsoc corral at the tithing barn will probably be used and stockmen stoc kmen will do well to inquire frequency if any of their animals are there the council also the progress being made toward getting more water into our system which has hag been short since sanco the recent floods took a section of the pipe line out and it was decided to abandon the first lett left hand canyon springs spriggs councilman edgar benson who is 13 chairman of the water system committee of the council reported that another main canyon spring had been added and a second one would be within a few days these lie he said will supply ample water for the city it if regulations as to the use of water are complied with by citizens of the community it was pointed out however that these regulations are being disregarded by many and that the main canyon pipe will not carry sufficient water even though it were avail available to supply the city under present conditions the council discussed ways ot of exacting compliance with regulations some other matters were discussed before the meeting adjourned to meet next tuesday night FT |
