Show DEATH COMES SUDDENLY TO MARY W TAYLOR death came suddenly and anex to mary E warren taylor 65 wife wie of 0 henry W taylor ot of this ity on sunday evening at heart trouble is given as the cause for a period of about nine years mrs taylor has suffered much with rheumatism being pretty well crippled with it much ot of the time but laer condition seemed no worse than usual on sunday and she was about her work and helping get supper A hen all at once she complained of feeling badly and members of the family assisted her to her bed death came almost immediately in spite of their efforts to relieve her mrs taylor was born in parowan carowan december 2 1864 the daughter of bishop william S and annie fowler warren reared in this community and receiving her adur education atlon in the schools here she taught school tor for three years during the last of which she was married to henry IV taylor on february 13 1885 in the st george temple mr air taylor was attending school at the time and their marriage was hastened by the threat of non mormons cormons in the state to close the temples and confiscate church property she was an active community arid and church worker serving under five presidents as secretary of the relief society she is the mother of eleven children eight of whom survive her they are H warren taylor of brigham city mrs mary E robb of Afan mancos cos colorado thomas merrill and glen taylor of logan evelyn T lowder clifton golda and wllbur taylor of parowan carowan Pa rowan all ot of whom were home tor for the funeral there are 21 grandchildren surviving her also are arc her husband her aged mother a brother mr air albert warren of salt lake city and a sister alster mrs eliza W orton of mar afar vista california funeral services were held in the west ward chapel on wednesday afternoon aPter noon under the direction of balthop 11 L adams speakers were thomas D adams mary diary marsden lucius lucid N marsden barbara af adams bishop thomas W jones ot paragonah Para gonah and walter C mitchell Ml solos were sang by mrs C M dark clark mrs afro blanch hammond and scott matheson appropriate numbers were sang by the choir led by miss migg jona ona clon con the opening an and d closing prayers were offered i by john steve stevens ns and J clayton mitchell Ml respectively the chapel was crowded with sympathetic friends ot of the family and moux mourners ners including many from neighboring communities |
