Show WEST WARD BEE HIVE GIRLS HAVE SUMMER OF ACTIVITY the summer bummer which to is ending has been one ot of activity tor for the two swarms ot of west ward bee be hive girls and their activities have been ot of such a nature that they have derived much benefit from them beginning with the trip made by the panoche their name is a combination of 0 the words faith hope and charity swarm to the st george temple last spring as previously reported in these columns at which time they were baptized for or more than two hundred they have continued throughout the summer to be active the next important event was the graduation exercises where eight ot of the girls received diplomas omas A little later they took a trip into the canyon where they had supper then the swarm had bad a progressive gres sive supper the busy bee swarm entertained their mothers at a social and supper and just after a ater the both swarms eighteen girls chaperoned by mrs dena whitney mrs mabel mrs G D hyatt and miss mies anna taylor went to cedar breaks and over night they made the trip in the mercantile truck and it was one round of pleasure then they butron put on a bazaar during the rambouillet show where here they exhibited and disposed of a wonderful display of needle work the sale bale ot of which netted enough to pay the expenses ot of their trips and leave a neat surn sum in the treasury the final event ot of the season Is to be in the nature ot of a farewell for or those who are advancing from the bee hive work to junior activities and is to feature a visit to mark jacksons home to see his wonderful collection ot of mounted wild animals and birds and to be told something of these animals and their habits by mr jackson this concluding activity will probably be held sometime this week after which the swarm will bid farewell to bee hive work |
