| Show orton cox friends of miss hiss lillian orton were very much surprised last week upon receiving announcements of here marriage on july I 1 ith in salt lake city to mr leroy H cox it was not known even by her immediate family that she had serious thoughts houghes ts about matrimony until word reached here of the marriage lill was attending summer school after having graduated with high honors from the P H S last spring with the intention of taking a school this winter but her meeting with mr cox after going to salt lake changed her plans entirely she is the daughter of mr and mrs orson 0 orton of this place and is a very briliant young lady mr cox was originally a st george boy but since his service with the A E F in france where he was wounded and gassed he has been a resident of salt lake city he has been taking vocational training this summer and it is his intention to go to chicago in september to study law the young couple will visit in parowan carowan and st george for about a month immediately after august and then they win both go to chicago the times force joins with the host of friends of the young couple in wishing them a long and happy married life |
