| Show A CLUBBING WEEKEND WEEK END it felt like a clubbing when we wa landed at the B A C for the first fint meeting early thursday morning may 22 seven in our crowd and nd we only one of the many crowds that traveled likewise came over a distance of twenty miles in forty minutes and that in a jitney what a clubbing head body and st ilta were bruised all this was for the joy 7 of attending the boys bove diriso and girls club chib school held at the B BA A C but the jolts were worth it for we were dropped into a recall town with a large school whose whom faculty students and all picked us up and kept us on our feet for three long days daya and part of the nights so busy did they keep the many visitors that when the delicious spreads were before us ua not a word passed over the eats eata business was waa profound fou nd educational meetings were held every morning at the early hour of eight thirty hence boom the visitors received information on the duties an and responsibility of ea club ob leaders being III directed acted by t the he state late leaders leader prom professor hogenson mr ryliss miss golds faux and miss paton the success of the week end speaks for itself the clubbing from our leaders will be far reaching towns in washington beaver garfield and iron counties all will receive a few blows in ID the future months that have been hammered into the delegates from these them counties however there are other sides to this joyous beginning of the club schools at the BAG B A C these are am the delightfully pleasing welcome and entertainments entertain menta which was given by the members of the college of southern utah A trip across the valley by automobile Uto moble headed by professor homer whose me car was loaded to the radiator win was one impressive feat tipped tapped off by the racing fever tingling the tips of every drivers fingers the clubbing continued soundly when every girl was hard bard at work in the sewing and coo cooking king contest and every boy in the grain and stock judging contests the delegate from panguitch jumped up from her sewing machine trembling to the tips of her hair this same excited high difed and rippin ir spirit filled every minute of the che week end we wish to thank the members of the B A C for their hospitality the clubbing hai ha i been enjoyed and highly appreciated RACHEL G DUNFORD |
