Show LOVING WIFE GONE mi P s VINNIE MATHESON PASSES TO GREAT BEYOND ILL TWO DAYS HEART FAILURE PRINCIPAL apal CAUSE OF DEATH I 1 ni it entire wal startled and shocked sunday morning udon non learning that mrs vinnie gurr gr matheson had bad died but few of the people being aware that she had been ill friday afternoon she was stricken with la lagrippa gripp and suffered beverly from chills and swoons the latter being induced by a weak heart the family physician was called in and an d did all al that was humanely possible and with the careful nursing n g given her by loving relatives t the li a patient seemed to rally and strengthen up to saturday evening when she again began to weaken and at about 5 30 sunday morning mrs matheson passed peacefully to tt the a areat rest beyond the deceased was the lomg loving wife of hugh matheson and was known by a large number of people in this part of the state she was waa a most lovable woman of sweet disposition loving nature a home lover and devotedly atta attaches chea to her husband and son by her kind unassuming and de vout ways she won the love and ad mi ration of all with whom she became acquainted and was sever never known to harbor ill feeling toward any person and never had an enemy during her entire life vinnie as she was familiarly called by relatives and friends was born january 13 1872 being 46 years of age this month she was waa a devout Latt erday saint all her life ife and believed firmly in all the doctrines of that faith funeral services were held in the tabernacle tuesday afternoon and were most impressive the speakers were walter C mitchell morgan richards wm win C mitchell and S A matheson brother of bf the bereaved husband who was requested by bir the family to make a few remarks each of the speakers spoke words of encouragement and sympathy and their talks were a comfort to the father and son who are now deprived of a loving wife and mother during the services miss una morris sang a solo in a sweet and beautiful way that reached the hearts of all and L I 1 adams and prof mcallister McAlli ater sang that most beautiful hymn sometime somewhere the opening prayer was offered by bp chas jones of enoch and the benediction was wait pronounced by pres prea wilford day bp H 3 martenson officiating the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved husband and son in this their hour of sad bereavement |
