six gentlemen gent lenen and six ladies to work along edness lines in connection with the farm bureau depre representative geo cec W decker called tham the meeting a cling to order and at sta td t d the object of the meeting and called for a selection of a chairman he being beine selected elected unanimously to fill the position with J C as as secretary e delary R C S rice being present presen t eyged was ell called to talk a short time t to 0 the he people assembled mr R rice ce stated that thai he had recently returned aroi the east and found there a greater and more serious feeling the war or than the people of the west wes t have as yet shown the people he stated were entirely in sympathy with the government in the action taken and were joining the ranks in large numbers to help along the cause the Par owari owai band which had rendered some borne stirring patriotic ran mu sic prec proceeding ceding the opening of the meeting responded at the close of mr rices remarks with the star spangled banner the audience joining in with the song at this point the selection of the committee com mitlee was bag attended to and the following ladies and gentlemen chosen ell mrs olive ward nita
