Show S I r r r a I t. t ram I r f y y F I I Y A AL L J n 2 DAY CAMP PLANNING Among those attending training for Girl Scout day camp leaders were I Ito Ito Ito to r r. r Lorraine day camp di director director director di- di rector Geneva Swartz district ad- ad Girl Scout leader trainers from North Salt Lake to Logan Logan Logan Lo Lo- Lo- Lo gan met at Davis County Memorial Memorial Me Me- morial Park on May lay 14 to train Girl Scout leaders for day camp this summer MRS GENEVA Swartz district district district dis dis- dis- dis advisor was on hand to visor Mary Lou Briggs day camp leader and Esther Breeden day camp trainer supervise the activities The trainers co-trainers were Mrs 1 Esther Breeden Mrs Frances Judd Mrs 1 Arlene Reid Mrs Betty Jo Swenson Mrs Ruth Graham and Mrs 1 Kay Matlock THE TRAINING session was called Outdoor Skills The leaders were taught tool craft and cooking health and safety trail signs and hiking hiking hiking ing knots and lashing and signs of nature These classes prepare the leaders for day camp so that they can teach these skills to the girls THERE WILL be two Brownie Day Camps this summer summer summer sum sum- mer the first one will be held eld June 8 12 the second one will willbe willbe be June 2226 22 There will also be a Junior and Cadette Camp held June 1519 19 These three day camps will be held at Mueller lueller Park |
