A wedding breakfast was given at the Lion House by the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott J. Simonsen, West Jordan, Utah. The newlyweds were honored at a garden reception that evening at the Lion House hosted by the bride's paitents Mr. and Mrs. Murray D. Ford, Park City, Utah. Attending the bride were the maid of honor, Barbara Anne Ford and bridesmaid Lanisu Ford, Jill Simonsen and Nancy Simonsen, and flower girl Alisa Ford. Attending the groom were best man Jason Simonsen, groomsmen Dan Fitzgerald, Douglas Ford, and Garth Ford and groomsboys Dustin, Ronald and Matthew Ford. The bride is a graduate of Park City High School and was chosen Miss Summit County Queen. She is presently attending the University of Utah. The groom graduated from Bingham High School, fulfilled an LDS mission in England and is also attending the University of Utah and working for Surety Title. They plan to make their home in Salt Lake City for the present. Sanders-Evans Christine Sanders and Shawn James Evans were married Friday Sept. 14 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The bridegroom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Evans of Park City, is studying psychology at the University of Utah. He filled an LDS mission to Chile. The bride, a daughter of Holly Sanders, Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Brent C. Sanders, Tempe, Ariz., attended Brigham Young University. She will attend the University of Utah this fall. A reception was given at Salt Lake's Shalamar Reception Center. Apple Butter Farms was the setting for the wedding breakfast. |
