LEGAL NOTICE ORDINANCE NO. 113-D AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 113-B DEALING WITH ANIMAL CONTROL BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF SUMMIT COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: I. The following Sections Sec-tions of Ordinance No. 113-B, dealing with Animal Control, are hereby amended amen-ded as follows: i. a vaua kennel license shall be posted in a conspicuous con-spicuous place in each establishment and said license shall be considered con-sidered as appurtenant to the premises and not transferable tran-sferable to another location. The license shall notify the Department of Animal Control within 30 days of any change in his establishment or operation which may effect ef-fect the status of his license. In the event of a change in ownership of the establishment, the licensee shall notify the Department of Animal Control immediately. Licenses shall not be transferable from one owner to another. 3. Any license issued pursuant to this section shall automatically expire on December 31 immediately immedi-ately following date of issue. During the first three months of each year the licensee shall apply for a renewal of the license and pay the required fee. Any application made after af-ter March 31, except an application for a new establishment opening subsequent to that date, shall be accompanied by a late application fee in addition ad-dition to the regular permit fee. 4. License fees: (a) Kennels, catteries, groomeries, pet shops, veterinary clinics, or boarding boar-ding establishments. Class A, Kennel License 4-30 animals $50.00. (b) Late fee $25.00. 5. Research facilities where bona fide medical or related research is being be-ing conducted, humane shelters, and other animal establishments operated by state or local government or which are licensed by federal law are excluded from the licensing licen-sing requirements of this ordinance. 6. All kennel establishments establish-ments permitted under, this ordinance, shall be suojeci io periodic inspections, inspec-tions, and the inspector shall make a report of such inspection with a copy to be filed with the Animal Control Department. Depar-tment. 7. All persons operating a kennel shall be subject to the remaining provisions of the Animal Control Ordinance No. 113-B, as amended, and also must obtain a business license for commercial operations. II. Except as modified herein, the remaining provisions of Ordinance No. 113-B as modified by Ordinance No. 113-C, shall remain in full force and effect. ef-fect.
