Show Commissioners Ponder Snyderville Beer Permit The Summit County Board of Commissioners postponed issuing a beer license for a Silver Sorines convenience store following a no-public-input public hearing March 1. Commissioner Cliff Blonquist said although there was no public comment either in favor or against the proposed beer outlet, the decision was postponed to make sure the site is not within 300 feet of nearby Parley's Park Elementary School. State statutes prohibit the dispensation of alcoholic beverages within 300 feet of schools or churches. |
