Show Middle school fair is tonight The students of the Treasure Mountain Middle School would like to invite you to a fair. They have been busy all week putting it together, and tonight the gymnasium, the media center and the halls of the school will be lined with booths. But don't worry. It's not the kind of carnival where an innocent passerby is likely to get fleeced. There will be no tattooed ladies. Instead there will be computer graphics, art, history and science exhibits. There will be industrial arts projects and English and social studies displays. It is the middle school's annual curriculum fair. "The purpose of the fair is to get the kids to investigate a wide variety of interests. The whole school is involved," said principal Brian Schiller. Th projects will be judged Wednesday and the winners will be announced Thursday evening. "But, really, the competition is secondary. Everyone who participates is a winner," Schiller said. The public is invited to attend the curriculum fair tonight from 6:30 to 8:30p.m. |
