Show : rr 1 "vyri At - M u w if I r m ! f P o Park City's first 100 years is subject of television special In celebration of Park City's 100th anniversary, KUTV news in Salt Lake City will present a half hour special, "Mines to Moguls," Thursday, March 22 at 8:30 p.m. Written and produced by KUTV news reporter Larry Warren, "Mines to Moguls" tells the history of Park City through the eyes of one family descendants of Park City's founders George and Rhoda Snyder. Lloyd Evans and his father Cliff share memories of the town's rich heritage and compare its past to Park City's present popularity as a ski resort. The development of Park City's ski facilities is traced by Park City Ski Area president Phil Jones and ski enthusiast Mel Fletcher, Flet-cher, also a Park City native. Warren, a Park City resident, mixes still photography, local folklore and video to create a nostalgic look back at a century of change and progress. The special was previewed at Park City's centennial ball.
