Show Falling tree injures American Fork man Police Report An American Fork man was airlifted by helicopter to American Fork Hospital July 9 after a tree fell on him in Weber Canyon. Summit County Deputy Sheriff Carry Yates said Herschel Pedersen suffered a broken femur the thigh bone while cutting trees. He was transported by Life Flight to American Fork Hospital where officials listed his condition as stable. On July 3, Nancy Chartier called police to report that her 1982 Subaru wagon had been taken from her garage on Doc Holiday Drive. According to her report, the wagon was taken sometime during the previous night. Police have no suspects in the case.
