H Barber in real estate and nd insurance in 1953 During this association he operated a branch office in O Ogden den later helped with the development development development devel devel- of several subdivisions subdivisions subdivisions' subdivisions subdivisions' visions visions' in the East Center Street area which consisted of nearly homes In 61 1960 he was the broker for Graystone Condominium I apartments in Salt Lake City which also had a branch office in Bountiful He was later associated with United Farm Agency a national farm and ranch brokerage He served as local representative in Logan Logan Logan Lo Lo- Lo- Lo gan for two years and then as the district sales manager for Utah Nevada and Idaho DURING his association i with the agency Mr l Tucker Dicker j became aware of a demand for recreational property i I It was through this experience i ence and my interest in out- out of-doors of recreation which helped me qualify for the post of regional director of the national organization of the American Sportsman I Club for Utah Idaho and Nevada evada he emphasized and also to enable me to I serve as a director for i Sports Haven Country club A native of Elmo Utah Cleon Cleon Cle Cle- on Tucker I was born in a log I cabin the youngest of ten children lIe He was married I Ito to Betty Jensen in 1941 1911 and they are the parents of seven children five sons two daughters daughters daughters daugh daugh- and two grandchildren THEIR oldest son David lives with his wife and sonin son sonin sonin in Albuquerque NM I. the second son Terry is married married married mar mar- ried and is a student at the University of Utah Ulah also a I director of Kiwanis Felt Fell Boys' Boys Club in Salt Lake City the oldest daughter Suzanne lives fives in Bountiful with her husband and daughter Randy is a senior at Bountiful High I school Bonnie is a junior at Bountiful high school Linn Linnis is in the eighth grade at Bountiful junior high school and Mark lark a fourth grader at Hannah Holbrook elementary elementary elementary elemen elemen- tary school Mr Tucker served with the army from August 1943 to I January 1945 in the Philippine Philip Philip- pine Islands and the occupation occupation occupation I. I tion of Japan and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in action HIS illS WORK with the American Ameri Ameri- can Sportsmens Sportsmen's Club is most fascinating The club has opened up lands which have been closed to sport sportsmen men and the he club offers the promise to o 0 members for unusually fine big game waterfowl and upland bird hunting in addition to fishing Mr Tucker advises In addition to his activities activities activities ties with the club he finds time for civic and church affiliations lie He has had several responsible church positions including teaching teaching teaching teach teach- ing ward clerk and stake 1 MIA I.
