The Kimball Art Center will be sponsoring a photography course beginning Wednesday, Wednes-day, May 19. The course, to be taught by Park City's Nan Chalet, will meet every Wednesday for six weeks from 7 to 9:30 p.m. According to the instructor, "This course is designed for both the complete beginner and for people with moderate picture-taking experience who want to refine their photographs. I have a large library of reference books on photography and also would like to discuss ski and nature photography as those subjects sub-jects would be of greatest interest to Parkites. The course will familiarize students with their cameras, provide an introduction to creative controls of composition, composi-tion, and provide an introduction intro-duction to darkroom techniques. tech-niques. Her photographs have been published pub-lished in Silver Vain, Lodestar, Lode-star, The Newspaper, The Park Record, and Focus. She has had work exhibited at Johnson Gallery, The Family Jewels and in the Kimball Art Center's Gallery Shop. Cost for the photography course is $45 for members and $50 for nonmembers.
