They appriase silver, dolls, toys and collectibles, collect-ibles, paintings and schulp-ture, schulp-ture, oriental works of art, furniture and decorations. A clear photograph of large items will suffice. Sotheby Parke Bernet will take only national and international value into consideration; therefore, regional art will not be appraised. Perhaps you will be as lucky as the retired Salt Lake couple who were told last year by Sotheby Parke Bernet they had a painting worth $15,000! There is no admission charge, just a $5 per item appraisal fee. Residents of Utah and the surrounding states will be asking themselves if they have an undiscovered treasure trea-sure as November 6 and 7 approach. The reason they'll be looking in the attic and opening the old chest is an opportunity provided by the Salt Lake Art Center, 20 South West Temple, Salt Lake City. The Art Center has invited five experts from Sotheby Parke Bernet, world renowed auction house, to return to Salt Lake and give 'verbal appraisals on heirlooms heir-looms and valuables on November 6 from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Due to the success of last year's "Heirloom Discovery Day", the Salt Lake Art Center is pleased to offer a full day and an evening of appraisals, thanks to the support of KSL and Northwest Energy Corp.
