The work for volunteers, however, just begins! Volunteers are needed for all types of trail work, particularly trail marshalls, for which horses and four-wheel drive vehicles are needed but not required. Starting time is 9:00 a.m. Location is 1855 Medical Circle (parking available north of University Medical Center). Distance is 5 miles, fee is $6 which includes a shirt with advance registration. There will be refreshments, awards, medals or ribbons to be presented to division winners. Advance registration is by June 22. All participants who register in advance are eligible for prize drawing. Qualifications are one or more of the following: 1. Licensed architect or member of the American So. of Interior Design, wdemonstrated experience in historic preservation. 2. A member recommended by one of the following: groups, a) Park City Historical Society, b) Utah State Historical Society, c) Utah Heritage Foundation. 3. A member living in the Historic District with demonstrated interest and knowledge of historic preservation. 4. A member form the Park City Planning Commission. 5. Closed Sundays. community clinic The Park City Community Clinic, a non-profit family planning program, will be holding clinics for the month of June. Appointments are available for morning, afternoon, and evening clinics. The services offered include: physical exams, PAP tests, counseling and education, VD screening, pregnancy testing, and contraceptive supplies. Costs for these services are minimal or on a sliding fee scale. No one will be denied use of the clinic and all services are confidential. Please come meet Linda Barnes and welcome her to our community. st. mary's women meet The next meeting of St Mary's Wmen's Organization will be on June 22 at 7:30 in the parish hall. Monsignor Jerry Stoffel will present the program. Msgr. Stoffel has spent most of his priesthood as a pastor at St. Thomas Aquinas parish in Logan, Utah. He was there 30 years when he resigned to accept the position as director of the diocesan spiritual program for the catholic priests of the diocese. His life-long interest has been Utah history particularly the history of the Catholic Church in Utah. He has also made an intensive study of the teachings of the Mormon faith. The public is invited to attend. roofing workshop On June 22 at 3 p.m. there will be a roofing workshop held at the Marsac School bldg. Some of the things that will be offered in the workshop are installation, problems dealing with fire resistence, and weather protection. Anyone interested, is invited. free exercise classes Free exercise classes at the LDS Church House on the frontage road west of Kimballs Junction. They are being held Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A babysitter is being provided and the fee is 50 cents per child.
