Show County Residents Get Special Pass Rate Summit County residents will have a limited time to purchase Park West Season Passes at the special price due to an allotment made available for pre-season savings. With betterthaneversales this year, the special rate is expected to continue for only a short period of time. Persons wishing to purchase pur-chase passes may do so at the Park West Main Lodge, weekdays and Saturdays, the Kindersport in Park City or at the Park West booth at Trolley Square. A special mail coupon may be found in this issue. A long expensive summer reflects many improvements at the Snyderville resort. Several runs, including Slaughterhouse, Geronimo, Ricochet and Stampede have been groomed and widened, along with over 80 acres planted with grass, which will allow the area a much earlier opening this season. Nigh skiing, on Tumble- i weed Lift, will be offered as a new attraction at the resort this year. The installation of lights and wiring is presently in the final stages which will include Paleface and Greenhorn Green-horn runs, as well as the bowl immediately to the north of Tumbleweed Lift in the night skiing area. The main lodge is also undergoing some extensive remodeling. The primary restaurant seating capacity and to move the administrative administra-tive offices into a second level. Lodge remodeling is expected ex-pected to lie completed within with-in the next 30 days. Many additional ad-ditional improvements are awaiting skiers at Park West this year with Thanksgiving day slated as official opening open-ing day for the 1975-76 season. |
