Show Chamber Made Employee Workshop ' "Lack of service employee and management professionalism" profession-alism" is one problem commonly com-monly mentioned among the over 80 local community leaders. lead-ers. Essentially this seems to indicate that as a community we can certainly improve in the areas of meeting the public, knowing the town thoroughly, and giving accurate information informa-tion to our visitors. In an effort to assist in this area, the Park City chamber of Commerce is sponsoring an employee workshop on Nov. 13 designed to give everyone a fresh complete and motivated start for this year's winter season. The workshop is planned to last from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 13. The general session (4 hr.) will be conducted by Cornell Taylor of Wilson Learning Learn-ing Corporation. Three hours of area orientation will include small group work and town tours (especially designed for those new to our area). A nominal fee will be charged per person, just enough to cover costs. Location has been set at the Holiday Inn. We request that you inform the Chamber Office at 649-8899 of the number of employees you will have participating. Due to the amount of town information informa-tion that this workshop will disseminate, the chamber strongly recommends that all "meet the public" employees attend. Remember that the actual number of employees attending will be required by Nov. 9. Promotional Material Just fresh off the press, we encourage businesses to pick up and familiarize themselves with this winter's skiing and lodging information brochures. Park City Ski Corp. has produced pro-duced a glossy ski brochrue with photos depicting the scenery, scen-ery, skiing and entertainment along with ski rates and a Park City lodging map with rates and general town information. Holiday Inn, Prospector Square Ski and Conference Center, Park City Resort Lodging, Jupitor and Park West have also produced brochures listing complete winter season information. infor-mation. All of these promotional promo-tional pieces are available at the Chamber of Commerce office. 0 v , .t , |
