Park City is undergoing a period of tremendous growth and great change. The time has come for the citizens of this town to look toward the future with vision and imagination. im-agination. Park City is at a crossroads. It can be developed into a unique historic-recreational community com-munity or just another tacky, tourist ski town. The choice is still in the hands of the citizens of Park City. Show, your civic pride by supporting suppor-ting this year's Earth Day Celebration. We will be meeting on the porcfi of ;Rockin? Rhonda's Hard - Rock Cafe; at noon on Saturday, Satur-day, where a clean-up campaign cam-paign of Park City will .be organized. We will descend upon the town, garbage bags ! in hand, in an - effort to remove, a winter's accumula- tion of litter and junk; If you care about your town what better way to show it? If you own a rake, shovel or truck, bring it along, the more trash taken from town to the dump the better. On Sunday, also at noon on the porch of the Hard Rock Cafe there will be a series of discussions on a wide variety of topics from solar heating sytems to planting plan-ting a garden. Whether you are interested in learning or passing on to others some knowledge of your own, drop on by. A' Bake Sale will also be held to obtain funds for future events and for a local contribution to the na- r tional Earth Day campaign. We are inviting all the citizens of Park City, school children, ski bums, business people, workers senior citizens,, anyone who. would like" to express their concern : and commitment toward a better environment.
