Show Art Center to Host Printing Workshop One of the country's most influential photographers. George Tice, will conduct a printing workshop at the Kimball Art Center September Septem-ber 22 to September 26. The workshop. "Making the Fine . Photographic Print.' is being held in conjunction witht the Art Center's M Photo Festival 1980." According to Tice, "The workshop is for photographers photo-graphers who wish to improve im-prove the quality of their prints. Emphasis is placed on developing the critical ability and craftsmanship necessary for the creation of fine expressive photographs." photo-graphs." . Tice's talent was first recognized by Edward Stei- chen in 1959. Since then, he has published seven books, has had one-man shows at such places as The Metropolitan Metropol-itan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, The Art Institute of Chicago and The New Jersey State Museum. Tice currently teaches a master class in photography at the New School for Social Research. He has been a member of that institution's faculty since 1970. The Kimball Art Center workshop will be limited in size. Students may earn college credit for the workshop. work-shop.
