Show Poisonings Spread To Summit Park Park City's dog and sheep problems calmed this week as reports of dbg poisoning spread to surrounding areas. There were no cases of dog poisoning or of additional attacks on sheep within the city limits, but five dogs were reported poisoned in the Summit Park area. Including the Summit Park killings, 18 dogs have been poisoned and five have been shot since mid-May. Sheepowners, in turn, claim well over 300 head of sheep have been killed or maimed by dogs in the last six weeks. Sources report that three dogs were also poisoned last week in Wasatch County, near Midway. Sheepowners Gift Jordan and Ed Gillmer have both indicated they are in the process of moving their herds from the Park City area to higher pastures and expect no further trouble. |
