Under the provisions of Title 40-6, Utah Code Annotated 1953, the Board of Oil and Gas Conservation is given authority to make rules and regulations and amend them from time to time as deemed necessary for the proper administration of the Oil and Gas Conservation Act. Section 40-6-3.3, Utah Code Annotated 1953, grants the Board, among other things, the following jurisdiction: "... (4) The Board shall have and is hereby given jurisdiction and authority over the development and production of crude petroleum pet-roleum oil and gas, and crude shale oil, regardless of gravities, from bituminous bit-uminous sandstone andor oil shale deposits in any manner or form." Notice is hereby given that the Board of Oil and Gas Conservation Con-servation has prepared a final draft of proposed rules and regulations reg-ulations governing the development develop-ment and production of crude oil and gas from bituminous sandstone and shale oil. A hearing hear-ing will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 1972, at 10:00 A.M., in the State Office Building Build-ing Auditorium, First Floor-State Floor-State Office Building, Salt Lake City, Utah, for the purpose of adopting said rules and regulations. reg-ulations.
