Show artifacts pertaining to mining and I in my old fashioned costume cos-tume made the past history more visual to them. They were all gathered in my front room where they could see my collection of old and new and they asked many questions about the things that interested them most. Then back to the Resort where they all rode the gondola, then over to the Reynolds home on Marsac for lunch as it was the ski cabin of the parents of one of the students. . Then to Main Street where they went to the dungeon, to the Antique Floral for penny candy and a look into some of the shops. A very interesting day for all of them and very educational ed-ucational as they had been studying mining before they came to help them get a better understanding of what they saw. Mr. Jay Yoo, a student at BYU who is from Korea was in the Park doing a survey and it was very interesting to learn that his youth was spent as a 4-Her and the same as our 4-H clubs in America. The clover with 4-Hs, colors green and white, the 4-H pledge were exactly as we learn here. Jay said they also have a fair where they display their projects proj-ects and he was the winner of a number of blue ribbons for some of his displays. He was also a junior leader. He seemed very happy and thankful for the opportunity op-portunity to be able to be a member of 4-H. He is here to get his degree and then return to Korea to teach as he says his country has a great need .for education. Jay with his wife, mother and two children were very interested in this area, all but his mother spoke English. It was very interesting and as he asked questions so did I so it was an exchange of information and interesting to me as to all the other people whom he talked to while here.
