Susan Judd of Hoytsville won a trip to the National 4-H Congress Con-gress in Washington, D.C. Eleven Summit County Clubs took part in raising$200 to make her trip possible. The theme for Youth Conference Con-ference in Ephraim this year was "A Responsible Me in America". District Leader training was held at Provo. Leaders who attended at-tended were: Isabelle Judd, Kim Kumagai, Virginia Street, Berneil Kummer, Irene Robinson, Robin-son, Marcine Kummer, LaRetta Van Tassell and Helen Judd. 4-H CAMP: 200 members attended camp. The theme was "We're in the 4-H Army Now". Judy Lott was Camp Mayor and Peggy Moon, secretary. Beef, conservation, con-servation, Dairy, DogCare.En-timology, DogCare.En-timology, Field Crops, Flower Gardening, Home Grounds Beautification, Horticulture, Marketing, Poultry, Sheep, Swine, Woodwork, Clothing, Family Life Education, Foods and Nutrition, Home Improvement, Improve-ment, Home Management, Personal Per-sonal Development, Careet Explorations, Ex-plorations, CommunityService, Crafts, Emergency Preparedness, Prepared-ness, Health Demonstrations, Dress Revue, Knitting, and Rocks and Minerals. Older 4-H Youth Day was held in Park City. Five counties participated, Summit, Wasatch, Morgan, Duchesne and Tooele. Two hundred and eighteen registered reg-istered for the event. The |
