Show City Pulse By Keith Bailey City Manager "Roads in Park City are at-'rocious." at-'rocious." These words have been expressed ex-pressed by Park City residents, visitors and employees of Park City. It has been a standing joke that small foreign cars should keep off many of our streets for fear of becoming lost in one of the chuckholes. In all seriousness, we know these statements to be fairly true. We are happy to report that we have purchased some new equipment for road repair work. We have begun using this equipment equip-ment and the results can be seen on KingRoad, upper Wood-side Wood-side and on 12th Street. The road crew will continue to repair the many chuckholed roads until inclement weather sets in. We would like to express our appreciation to you folks of Park City for your patience and understanding. One local citizen made the statement, "Leave the roads alone, and protect our children. Cars cannot speed on chuckholed roads!" These words are true, but we will control con-trol the speed on our newly repaired re-paired roads. |
