Show Utah Anglers Caught with licenses Down Fishing without a license was a disappointing outdoor activity for 52 Utah anglers this spring as indicated in a recent arrest report of the Division of Wildlife Wild-life Resources. Over 170 wildlife law violators vi-olators visited the State's courts in May. Fines totaled $4,320 with $645 suspended. Seven cases were dismissed and 21 cases involved juveniles. Guilty pleas for fishing in closed waters were heard from 34 anglers while another 12 admitted ad-mitted to fishing out of season. Ten people had left their fishing fish-ing or hunting licenses home and another ten answered for fishing with more than one pole. Other cases heard by Utah judges included several for aiding aid-ing and abetting, fishing with illegal il-legal bait, wasting game, littering lit-tering and carrying a loaded gun in a vehicle. |
