Sophomore Sophomore Soph Soph- from Bonneville Jr High in Salt Lake He would have at attended attended attended at- at tended the new Cottonwood High School in Salt Lake but other plans have brought him and his father to live in Park City Alan t does ski and is very much interested in getting on the ski team Due to differences in class credits GENE a new student from New York hasn't as yet been placed in either Junior or Senior class He has recently been in California and last year went to school at the Louisiana S State t tat a t e Learning Center where he attended night school Gene has an them to Salt Lake City They moved to Park City three weeks ago and are now living at aJ King Road There are seven children in their family four of the younger children attend Marsac School Mike a freshman went to i Coon Rapids Junior High and played on the football and hockey teams Mike is interested in camping camping camping camp camp- ing and hiking 5 Sandy a Senior went to Coon Rapids Senior High which has an enrollment of 1200 students J 1 Sandy is interested in speech and drama activities In her herr 7 r junior year she was costume mistress for both both school plays Sandy actively participated in in the Pep Club and Girls Association Association Association Assoc Assoc- and won awards on the Discussion Team Sandy plans to go on to college to become 1 r j a physical High's student- student body She is staying with the in Summit Park In her family there are eight children in including c 1 u din g herself hersel Maizie likes to ride horses and play the piano She doesn't know how ho hoto to ski but wants to learn this coming season Margie King is also from Ft Wingate New Mexico and she is in the seventh grade at The school she came from was about the same size as Park City but it was just a grade school Margie is living with th the Richard Mar Martinez tin e z family in Park City There are five other children in her family She likes to swim but she doesn't r P i t t f. ski Another seventh grader Barbara Barbara Barbara Bar Bar- bara Begay is from Church- Church rock New Mexico The school she came from was a rural school and was not quite as s large as Park High She is living liv ing with the in Summit Park and comes omes' from a family with three children Barbara doesn't ski but she rides horses likes to swim and draw The students of would like to welcome these girls to our Reporter Reporter rte r Susanne Evans Park City High School has four new teachers this year Mr Way Wayne n e Carlson Miss Saundra Fidel Miss Sheryl Ridd and Mrs Linda Hassinger Mr Carlson is from Wallsburg Wallsburg Wallsburg Walls- Walls burg Utah but is now living in Charleston Utah He attended Wasatch Wasat h High School and Utah State University He has a Bachelor of Science in forestry and a composite major in Biological Biological Biological Bio Bio- logical Science This is his first year of teach teach- ing His classes include chemistry chemistry chemistry chem chem- chem chem- math mat h science and biology bi bi- bi lie He will also coach wrestling and assist in football His interests include sports mainly wrestling and hunting Mr Carlson is
