Show Annual Camp CampIs Is Held for H 4 Members The Good Old Days in la the West West- were brought back to life at H 4 camp July 8 through 10 Diane Wilde was chosen as camp campmajor campmajor campmajor major with De Ann Crittenden as secretary They were assisted assist assist- ed by Mr Rulon Buck from Logan Extension Office Helen Judd and Annette Vernon Also Qu committees were ap appointed appointed ap- ap pointed to help After ev V Vone one registered they receded receda a Hello cHello- tag The United States flag nag along with the H 4 flag was raised V ea each h day by Shirley Dearden's club of Henefer Each day there was a word for the day Wednesdays Wednesday's word was absolutely Thursday positively and no one stuck around long enough to learn Fridays Friday's word Mr L. L J. J Colton District Ranger addressed the group on the rules of the forest He stressed that although the forest is ours it is also everyone and we should take care of it Wednesday n night nigh I gh t everyone assembled for a fireside pro pro- gram After a ceremony to light the he fire various clubs presented skits about the camp theme Then with Billy Harris accompanying everyone sang songs under the direction of Karen Prescott Thursday morning after flag raising some went on a nature hunt while others worked on their handicraft Then disaster struck Rain drove most of the Hers 4 out of the Days of the West West- back to their m modern modem dem conveniences Just a handful of the original two hundred Hers 4 stayed mostly out of curiosity to see what night would bring Nothing happened All returned home safely A little water never hurt anyone Those unable to complete their handicraft will get another chance sometime in the future Wed We'd like to thank Diane our mayor Mr Buck Helen Annette Annette Annette An An- nette and all who made c p possible We cant can't wait until next year when Mr Moore willbe will willbe willbe be with us again We missed him and we wish Irish him a speedy recovery I |
