H Hunt vice president and general manager ot of the Park Utah Consolidated Mines company to the effect that some labor leaders In the State of ot Utah had personally congratulated him on the stand Park city mining operators had bad taken In refusing to bargain with of officers of- of of the Mine Mill Union until and unless they signed 1 non Communist affidavits vi ts In order that this misunderstanding be clarified I hereby wish to make mak the following statements I 1 1 No officer or member of ot has bas ever congratulated any mining operator operator op op- In any dispute that has existed ex exIsted ex- ex isted between a local union and a company regardless of a locals local's affiliation 2 That no officer or member of has seen or talked to MJ Mr Hunt since September 1947 at nt which time I r as Secretary President-Secretary of District Union No 2 accompanied a committee from Local No 99 09 to toR toa toa a R meeting of all Park City operators and settled a grievance 3 3 That should any officer of Pl IC ever offer congratulations to the employer In n a dispute with a local union It would be our feeling that the tho officer be Immediately removed Signed GEORGE J J.
