H Bennett director of ot the Utah State University Uni Uni- University I Extension Service The educational tour Is sponsored spon spon- sponsored by the Dow Chemical Co The 12 western states stalest will have one county agent to represent each state This tour will begin at Pocatello Poca Poca- tello teUo Ida lda Ju June 8 and will go through Idaho Oregon Washington Washing Washing- ton Northern California to San Francisco then into Nevada and back to Pocatello by June 26 The participants of the tour will visit farms Industries a an and n dother d dother other agricultural businesses to I give them first hand information ion I on topics that will b them in inI I their work j I Mr Moore has been employed ed edI I b by the Utah State University since I 1945 Ho was first assigned to Kane County where he served as asI I County Agent until 1953 I He Hie was then transferred toI to Summit County and anci is serving as I agent there now I In 1960 he received his Masters Master's Degree from Cornell University I a at t Ithaca N. N Y He now holds the rank of AssocIate Associate As As- Professor at the Utah State University In 1961 he was awarded the Distinguished Service Service Servo ice Award by the National Asso Mao Association elation of County Agents I He has given outstanding service servo ic ice in iri his profession and to to th the communities where he has served l n |
