Show Mrs Alice Henrikson On January 17 at the home of her daughter Mrs Geo Gidley Ogden Utah Mrs Alice Henrikson one or our old timo residents was called to her reward after living continuously In our midst for tor 45 years She was born in Coalville Utah November Nov Nov- NovI I ember 25 1862 daughter or of Alfred W. W Brun and Mary Ann Merrill both coming com com- comIng Ing from old Mormon stock her grand grand- grandparents grandparents parents both being active In church circles and personally acquainted with Joseph Smith founder or of the Mormon church Her rather father worked in one ot of the first tanning establishments In Salt Lake City and ana hauled stone by byox ox team from the canyons for tor the build build- building ling ing or of the Salt Lake temple I She spent her early youth in Coalville where she met and married Thomas F Brennan later moving to Grass Creek Junction where Mr Brennan worked In Inthe inthe the coal mines and where Fra Francis the eldest child was was' born They next moved td Park City where Lillian now Mrs Watson ot of this city was born Brennan worked In the Ontario mine where he was killed In an accident October 31 1885 After Brennan's death Mrs Hen Hen- Henrikson moved with her family back to Coalville where Ettie Effie was born three months after atter her fathers father's death She then returned to Grass Creek Junction and assumed charge of Gf a boarding house and It was here that she sho met Oluf Henrikson and the couple were later marrIed at Rock Springs Wyoming Mr Henrikson was section foreman at various points on the Union Pacific railroad and In 1900 they moved to Park City where he was vas retired on a pension In 1925 and after being pension pension- pensioned ed they continued to make Park City their home Funeral services were held January 20 In the Second ward chapel ot of the L. L D D. S. S church and was largely attended bY sorrowing relatives and friends Bishop Lloyd oyd Olsen was the speaker Surviving are daughters Mrs Lillian Watson Mrs LaVern Thompson and Mrs Arlene Lefler aU all of Park City Mrs Elva Bircumshaw Salt Lake City Mrs l Selma Gidley Ogden Mrs Etwynde Bailey Layton sons Orvel Onvel W. W Omaha Nebraska Clyde M. M Park City and Clarence E. E Odgen Interment was in Glenwood cemetery Bishop Wilde dedicating the grave 0 H H. |
