ski association end and by so eo doing the local Ba association can permit professionals fessio nals to enter their in meet beet there ther a Is it a possibility that a new W worlds record will be been united states ski j jumping champion seven times enthusiastically y told the officers ot of the utah ski club last monday that they have chosen the best site in the canyon and a n d with a little some thirty ski artists the state tournament this year Is sure to be the greatest of its kind ever held there Is one thing however which will be an important factor to towards W ards the success ot of this affair that Is the weather by present indications it appears a as a though there will he be none too much snow however the weather may take a change before then and give the course another coat of downy whiteness it if a toot foot of new snow falls and a cold snap follows the storm the skiers are sure to turn in a much better performance than they did in ogden at ogden they were unable to do their best because of the 1 slushy condition of the snow in fac fact there was hardly enough snow for the skiers to jump upon the wet r snow now kept the skiers from sliding very fast and the riders were unable to attain sufficient SP speed eed to make record jumps another big feature of the event Is that all the officials who so efficiently conducted the ogden tournament will have charge of the proceedings on ras cussons mus sens sons ranch A park city feature will als also 0 be had byron jones high school band will play fot for the crowd the ski hill will also be dedicated on march 2nd and
