Show E PI dies assembled in the stake house at Co alville last tuesday afternoon a large concourse of friends paid their last le aspects to a former neighbor edward H who out from a lifetime numbering close to 80 years spent nearly halt half a century among the people of that district where he was well and favorably known as school teacher county surveyor and cabinetmaker an ardent worker in the L D S church where he gave much time it was an easy task for his old time friends george beard frank evans and charles R jones to truthfully his many virtues throughout the years in which they labored together either as his pupils or later in coop co op civic and religious endeavor musical numbers were ere by a company i y of seven ladles ladies a solo abby by M mrs judith t h anderson beard and selection played by three granddaughters on violins and piano was by special request of deceased all of which was feelingly rendered and appropriate to the solemn occasion flowers in abundance added a silent message of love and esteem and from the bishop of the third ward tn in salt lake we learned that his church and temple work had bad been continued up to the time of an accident about two weeks ago when he was knocked down by an auto truck and which was entirely responsible tor for lie bis demise deaf was last sunday morning pallbearers Pall bearers were six grandsons and interment was in Co alville cemetery survivors are his bis widow mrs susan H huffman u ffman four sons five daughters te rs two brothers and two sisters bl stera ti thirty lirty six grand children and ten great grand children mr and mrs J E johnson mrs mary orr mrs wm B wilson and mr air and mrs jim don of this city were 1 in attendance at the funeral services last tuesday J D |
