christmas 1929 Is now history in c another short week we will enter the new year of 1930 all hall its c coming there Is every promise of its being one of the most promising periods tor for the nation in general with encouraging prospects for extensive mining development and largely increased mineral production tor for the unexcelled park city district may our fondest hopes be realized athis in practically every home throughout this glorious country of ours the past week has been a very busy one in preparation pa ration for the celebration of the greatest of all days christmas it has been so in our temporary alhambra home among the interesting and pleasant activities tivi ties of the week was th tho a setting etting up and elaborate decorating of the christmas treo tree tor for the little fairy of the h home ome and its brilliant and sparkling illumination enjoyed and admired every evening since then now at this writing adding to the attractiveness of the other decorations on and around the tree are scores of neatly wrapped and prettily adorned unopened packages to bring joy and happiness 1 to the recipients when the remembrances mem brances from loved ones axe are pawed passed around and opened christmas morning wonderful indeed Is the great annual christmas festival bringing with it the i chrils and joys of santa claus for the precious little ones of the millions of homes awakening soul stirring memories of the older ones once visioning the joy and laughter and love of former Christ christmases mases when the now loving parents were wee tots with perhaps an involuntary sigh as thoughts drift to absent loved ones aas in their happy distant homes and the mind recalls tile the pleasures and an 3 sorrows through the intervening years ye rs then with a smile we are back to the glorious present rejoicing in the lov ova the ever kindly thoughtfulness the h happiness apine and merriment of the always joyous christmas time tomorrow will be the drat christmas
