| Show rev R e A george dies in california last saturday word was received from the lepage ranch Litt littlerock lerock california of the t a passing on of rev bev alfred george gee rge who for several years was the beloved pastor of st lukes church this city many of our citizens will 11 1 r remember eb the kindly cheery pastor pasto r aw when h ax L making ang his home among us and it will be with a feeling 1 e eling of sincere regret they hear of h his demise rev bev george was a native of england he came to utah some twenty years ago for a time he assisted at st marks cathedral salt late lake he was later placed in charge of th the e park city parish and his bis faithfulness as a minister and his many kindly deeds and willing service as a citizen during residence in our midst will always be kindly remembered several yours years ago rev george went to southern california to continue contina e his church work because of advancing e and poor health he w was as co compelled to age retire from the ministry and for the past four and a half years he made his bis home at the lepage ranch at littlerock Litt lerock california where mr and mrs T E lepage cared for him giving him every attention days and comfort possible during his declining during his many years absence key george always retained a lively interest in park city and its people and kept in I 1 touch therewith by the record which was j week and was much enjoyed and appreciated he was in his eighty ninth year when he closed his eyes in his final sleep on july an honest good and lovable man was rev allred alfred george |
