and killed I 1 joseph whitford a young miner 28 years of age and stepson step son of james 13 allen alien and giving himself up to tot the officers mr air burns binen seen at the ilia police station after giving himself up appeared in no way excited over the awful act committed manifesting no regret and expressing himself that he thought he would be exonerated exonerate when the facts were known
