Show anna don graham our townspeople were shock shocked d tuesday to hear of 0 the death at butte montana of mrs airs annie da don graham sister of jim don and tor for years a resident of 0 park city endeared to all for years the lady had been afflicted with a growth which greatly impaired her health having undergone an operation at spokane eight yeas years ago which only temporarily relieved the trouble it was realized that another operation auit must be performed and a famous butte ii p in g whose skill they had the greatest confidence being about to I 1 leayo ea ve that a city it was decided to have it done at once saturday last she was taken to the hospital and apparently rallied nicely from the operation with no unfavorable complications but the next word received was of her death and her brother jim left the same afternoon the funeral to be held in butte from the presbyterian church she having been a member and always taken a prominent part in the choir work annie don graham was the daugh gh ter of mr air and mrs airs william don on and was born in glasgow scotland oct 1877 the family came to park city when she was six years old and park city was her home up to the time of her marriage june 14 1900 to mr air ross graham her husband being in the lumber business they departed tor for the northwest re siding biding at spokane and also at everett washington returning to park city tor for a year in 1903 two children were born to them a son william 18 yrs ars of age july who ihas hag just graduated with high honors from the butte high school and a daughter alice who turned 15 yrs ars of age feb she Is also survived by her mother who has been making her home with her during the three years the tha family has lived in butte mrs airs graham attended the park city public schools in her girlhood days and after completing her studies in salt lake and at the payson academy she taught in the same sama schools tor for four years prior to her marriage being a most capable and efficient teacher gifted with a rich soprano voice and being an accomplished complis hed talented musician her helpful assistance was freely given when called upon whether tor for concert or funeral church or lodge entertainment and even since her ro re silence elsewhere the lady has made special trips to the park to contribute her services to some worthy occasion and to hear her er sing was a treat of which all were eager to avail themselves now the voice Is forever stilled and the sympathy of ail all go to the bereaved in their sorrow |
