Show death of mrs nelson wilkins wife after several months of suffering mrs marie nelson neison wilkins daughter of mrs E nelson died at the home of her mother surrounded by her ber loved ones the lady was well known in the park where she had lived the greater portion of her life and she leaves scores of friends to mourn her early demise and sympathy goes out to the aged and devoted mother and to sister and brothers in their bereavement mrs marle marie nelson wilkins was born in virginia city montana on october 10 1870 1111 her parents came to park city shortly after and her early life was spent in this city when a young lady she went to I 1 europe and remained abro abroad ad a year on her return she entered the charity hospital blackwells island taking a three year course in nursing lafter after graduating she followed her profession in new york and cincinnati for several years she had the distinction des of opening the park city miners hospital for the past ten years mrs wilkins made her home in california where she lias has many friends who will mourn her death tile the lady was always a iome girl with a constant yearning tor for her mother and ever anxious as to her welfare and comfort always a dutiful loving daughter since the death of her brother tom which occurred some three years ago she has worried because of her ter love tor for him and his taking away when life held out so much promise for him and silo she apparently never recovered from the shock of his untimely death mrs wilkins Wl lkins being in failing health came home from oakland last july in tile the hope that the mountain air would prove beneficial two months ago her condition became quite serious aud and she was taken to salt lake and given the best medical care and attention her I 1 condition did not improve however her physician saying that her ailment wrights disease had such a hold on her that she could never recover her desire was then to come home ionic and be with gitil her loved oies three weeks ago today to day she nas mas brought back to the park gradually the she grew worse ancon most of tile the time recognizing those around her ter only occasionally sunday last she was stricken with pneumonia and lingered until tuesday evening when silo peacefully passed to her reward her drath takes from the home a devot ed daughter a loving sister a staunch and true friend the funeral occurred from the 1 home lome yesterday morning rev T tr P cook of 0 the M E church officiating 4 it was the request of deceased 31 that the services over her remains be quiet and simple like her life no flowers no singing and t bat she be burled buried in the sunshine her requests were complied with the pa pall 11 bearers were composed 1 I of 0 friends of her youth namely ed t j pegan R T kimball frank snyder ik james gray ed P evans and kit samuel |
