Holgreen Ralph Cornia Ben Rudd and and Gordon Heninger PRESTON RICHARD Jones was born June 14 1900 in Eden Weber County to Rich Richard rd Benjamin Benjamin Ben Ben- jamin Jones and Diane Louise Heninger He married Florence Verna Folkman of Plain City Weber County June 25 1925 in inthe inthe the Salt Lake Temple He lived In Eden Ogden Salt Lake and Val Verda areas He was a high priest in the Val Verda 2nd ward He had worked in Jack Slades Slade's New Grand Hotel Barbershop Barbershop Bar Bar- after graduating from the Salt Lake Barber College and attending the University of Utah He barbered for more than 36 years He attended Weber Weber We- We ber County schools He had a very thorough knowl- knowl I edge of geology He also had a avery avery very thorough knowledge and understanding of the universe stars and heavenly bodies He played violin in his own orchestra orches- orches tra for many years HE HAD SERVED as Sunday School teacher home and andward ward teacher ward genealogical chairman committee member for South Davis Stake genealogical cal committee and stake leader in the South Davis Stake Genealogical Genealogical Genea- Genea logical Sunday school class SUrviving are his wife one son Larry Richard L.
