| Show SUSPECT WANTED IN SALT LAKE JOE WALDEN WILL BG TAKEN TO THE CAPITAL ON CHARGE OF BURGLARY suspected of burglarizing roaena store but confessed to robbing place in salt lake city joo walden who was arrested upon suspicion of having roeena store on thursday evening will go to salt lako today to answer to the charge of burglary committed in that city about five days ago when wal alen was arrested he had n his possession four of five pocketknives but none of them were taken from roaena store and the robber claimed that he got them in cripple creek yesterday afternoon captain brown waa in salt lake city and called atthe police station to sea some of the officers the convention led up to the matter of burglaries and the captain told of the burglary committed in ogden and of the arrest and that none of the knives he had were the ones stolen tho salt lake officers then told of a burglary that had been committed several days ago in that city near the hlo grande depot and said anat a number of knives marked good luck and a revolver had been taken when captain brown returned to the city last evening he found the knives that were taken from walden had the same brand as those stolen in salt lake when questioned closely clo eely the boy admitted having committed the burglary in salt lake and aalde that he stole a large revolver but threw jt away coming from salt lale to this city the officers in salt lake were not bed of waldena confession and he will be taken back to hat city today |
