| Show POWER PLANT PROJECT work begun on enterprise that will supply 2000 horsepower horse power in canyon A power plant la to be built in weber canyon for the generation of 2000 horsepower A large force of men and teams was put at work yesterday by the utah construction company acting tor the locators investigation showed that the work Is a continuation of the development already done by A F parker city engineer of ogden and E W wade who some months ago projected the bon nevalle power plant and who last summer did a considerable amount of work on the project the plan is to take the water out of the weber river near strawberry creek and convey it by pipeline pipe line around the north wall of the canyon crossing to the south side a little below devils gate and turning the water back into the stream just above the head gate of the weber dails canal company this will give the company tor power purposes practically all the waters of the river and also the waters impounded by all the reservoirs built and to be built it Is pretty certain that some strong financial backing Is behind mr parker and mr wade and that this time the weber canyon power plant Is a sure go |
